Continental Math League

The middle school offers all students the opportunity to participate in the Continental Math League. Students share and learn new ways of solving problems and participate in organized competitions. CML meets every week from 2:30 to 3 pm. Members take part in two different types of competitions: solo and team. There are five solo competitions.

T
here are five solo competitions during the year, given monthly from November through March. During the solo competitions, students take a 6 problem test in which their results are used to compete against other members of their grade.  There are 7 team competitions given monthly from October through April.  Teams for group competitions are created at the beginning of the year and must be grade-mixed. The AMC 8 competition is also offered through this club as a separate event.
